Ben leads Brunel Coatings’ commercial strategy and market development, working across The Americas and supporting global growth initiatives. His background spans operations, supply chain, and business leadership, with experience in building and scaling performance-driven organizations.

At Brunel Coatings, Ben works closely with vessel operators, shipyards, and technical teams to translate coating performance into measurable operational and commercial outcomes. He plays a central role in developing partnerships, supporting project execution, and aligning Brunel Coatings' systems with the practical needs of operators in real-world environments.

RICHARD HUSSEY Co-Founder & Technical Advisor

Richard is the technical founder behind the coating systems used by Brunel Coatings, with decades of experience in marine coatings development and application. He has led the formulation and deployment of advanced, non-toxic coating technologies across a wide range of vessels and operating environments.

His work has focused on delivering durable, high-performance systems that support extended service intervals, reduced environmental impact, and consistent operational performance.

JOE CARTOSKI Business Development Advisor

Joe supports Brunel Coatings across business development, bringing decades of experience in the maritime and ship repair industry. His background includes senior commercial roles focused on ship repair, international sales, and project development, working with vessel owners and operators across global markets.

He began his career working on tugs and barges before moving into commercial and leadership positions, building expertise in both operational and customer-facing environments. At Brunel Coatings, Joe works to support partnerships, market expansion, and the practical positioning of coating systems within the shipyard and operator landscape.
