Our Story

Brunel Coatings was built around a simple idea. Marine operators deserve a coating system that performs at the highest level while meeting modern expectations for safety, durability, and environmental responsibility. EnviroMarine was developed to deliver exactly that, using a zero pollution formulation designed to protect hulls and structures in the toughest conditions.

Our first major demonstration of this technology took place on the M/V CP Prospect, a 225m/740ft containership. The hull was divided into three sections. The forward and aft thirds received EnviroMarine and the center section received a premium coating from a major manufacturer. All preparation and application were identical.

The vessel operated in harsh, varied environments from North Atlantic ice routes to slow tropical waters and the Panama Canal. When she returned to dry dock after six years the comparison was clear. The conventional coating had worn away extensively and several areas had been worn down to bare steel. The EnviroMarine sections remained intact with no measurable loss of film thickness.

This level of performance has been replicated across commercial fleets, government vessels, and marine infrastructure for more than two decades. EnviroMarine and our supporting systems have been applied to hulls, decks, flight decks, ramps, ballast tanks, cranes, dockside structures, and other high wear surfaces. Every application reinforces the same conclusion. These coatings protect assets for the long term while reducing maintenance effort and cost.
